LONDON TONIGHT TONIGHT: Thurs 8th Feb

BBBRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

But beautiful!!!!

Now if you have had an accident, had your hedge or wall driven in to or had frozen pipes, we apologise but you have sent us some of the loveliest pictures ever of this rather inconvenient blanket of snow. But we think most of you have rather enjoyed it.

OK, the trains got screwed up but what's new?

Airports at Luton and Stanstead were shut for a while but others remained opened and they are both OK, now..
But those snowmen! Those smiling children! Those toboggan races! We'll have the full story from Simon Harris and lots of your lovely images. Also, Chrissie with the weather prospects from City Hall, all lit up. To find out why it's environmentally OK, join her at 6.

And, to warm the hearts of all, the delightful Hugh Grant talks to Tamzin while motormouth, one-man arts industry Ben Elton talks to us about his latest charity initiative. Mama Mia, what a line up.

Finally, pun fully intended, a chilling story from Essex about burglars who target just one object in your house if they get in: wonder what it is? The story and the warning from Ronke

See you at 6.
